Gameplay Help and Discussion - Where to find the 6-Link craft recipe 1500 Fusings - Forum - Path of Exile (2024)

Hey after spending 3512 Fusings on my 28 Quality Body armour I wonder whether I can do it more simple by the 6 link recipe. But I cannot choose it. It seems that I havent found it yet. Does anyone know here to get it?

i also already used like 1500-200 fusings on my q30 armor. I can at least imagine how you're feeling.

The recipie is hidden in delve. if i remember right, you need to find a primeval city to get the recipie. I'm not sure, but it might also work on another persons delve.

The third option would be the 6 link prophecy. to make use of it, you can use the recipie to bring your armor below 6 sockets again.

lol just saw that my body armour is 3 ex on market. this is just ridiculous.
in future i buy every 6 link. spending 4500 fusings for 1 sixlink seems just a waste of money. thanks for your answer. but i dont want to farm for this recipe for a whole month more (no idea how long it takes actually). will quit poe till things get better :)

No need to quit the game, just take a closer look on the market and use the secure options in stead of gambling.

Sometimes its easier to buy 6L stuff, than doing it yourself. Especially if you want to use uniques.

And about the Recipie: I haven't checked til now, but according to my experience at the last leagues, there should be some ppl that offer a crafting service and also have some reputation. sure, reputation isn't a gurantee against scam, but it at least reduces the chance being scammed.

when i started to try 6 linking (before spending the 3512 fusings) very good rolls cost about 8 Ex. I have a perfect base (both important rolls maximum rolls) so i thought i try to six link myself this league for the first time. Worked for my bow after 800-900 Fusings (20 quality). Thinking 28% quality would make my chances to have it fused below 2000 fusings (5 Ex investment) quite high and save money. now after spending 3500 fusings the market has changed and now perfect rolls are about 4 Ex. So you get why this is frustrating besides all syndicate bullsh*t and besides all game crashes , lags and trading 30% of the time? This league consist 50% farming for fuse because no alternative given, 25 % whispering , 12.5 % dying by syndicate, 12.5% lags and game crashes. The game lost more and more the fun aspect by forcing to farm everything and not just playing the content you want.

yes but i guess for crafting service its like okay you give 1700 fusings so he lets you use his 1500 fusings recipe. + risk that he scams you and keeps both. its just sad how everything is gated behind rng and farming.

nvmn just deinstalled. ill come back and start league later and buy 6 links after they get cheaper. still i hope GGG improves the situation.

Well, the recipie is now behind a rng gate, before it was behind a massive grind gate (lvling vorici to 7).

While it may be hard to find a primeval ruins (the area, not the boss inside) may be hard, i think its at least more enjoyable than running vorici daylies.

and about 6l yourself, it is pure gambling, and since using fusings is like rolling a dice, the previous results (fails) doesn't affect the next one.
i've heard rumors that the chance for 6l is 1/1200, what would mean in average at 1200 fusings you should get it. but if you calculate the amount of fusings needed for a near 100% sucess ratio via conditional probability, im kinda sure the number is much higher.

On the other hand we can be happy that there are other options than using fusings. alot of 6l have been made without it, especially at older seasons.
