Solve the Jungle Button Puzzle

The first step to getting a Saber is going to Jungle Island. Once you’re in the jungle, you have to solve a puzzle that involves identifying five concealed buttons and activating them. Among these buttons is the Gorilla King’s small island. Be careful when looking for these buttons because they blend into the environment. Here’s where to find each one of them:

• The first button is at the base of the bush behind the ruined stone structure towards the bottom left.
  
• The second button is northeast of your starting point within the jungle, on the side of the tree facing Middle Town.
  
• The third button is adjacent to the Blox Fruits Dealer’s cousin.
  
• The fourth button is where Gorillas typically spawn, right where there’s a tree facing away from the Gorilla King.
  
• The last button can be found next to the improvised dock on the rocky beach of the island where Gorillas spawn.

Return to the Quest Giver

Once the five-button puzzle is solved, return to the NPC house at the center of the jungle, where the quest giver is. Descent the stairs and there you should find a hole that wasn’t there before. Proceed to the hole. You should wind up in a secret basem*nt. Take the touch on the wall and head over to the desert.

Complete the Desert Quest

Look for an abandoned, collapsing house with a red door. Enter the house and look for a door with a black curtain. Burn down the curtain using your torch. With the curtain out of the way, you should see a wall with a poem that says we need to fill up in a cold place. That means you should head over to the Frozen Village. So, grab the cup near the wall and go to the Frozen Village.

Complete the Frozen Village Quest

Upon reaching the Frozen Village, proceed towards the island’s rear end and go to the cave where the Ability Teacher resides. The entrance to the cave is marked by a pine tree, making it easier to locate. Upon entering the cave, you will notice water dripping from a melting stalactite hanging from the ceiling. Position yourself under the stalactite and fill the cup with water.

Help a Sick Man

Once you have filled the cup with water, exit the cave and proceed to the upper part of the island where the village is situated. Locate the house adjacent to the Sword Dealer NPC and approach the sick man inside. Provide assistance by giving him the water from the cup. He’ll thank you and tell you to meet up with his rich son for a reward. Go to the Pirate Village and meet the sick man’s son. The son will thank you for helping his father, but he will not reward you immediately because a mob leader has recently robbed him of all his money. He will ask you to take down the mob leader so he can reward you.

Avenge for the Rich Man in the Pirate Village

To find the mob leader, go to the small island north of the Pirate Village, where he’s hiding in the cave. Kill him, take the money, and return to the rich man to share the good news. The rich man will thank you for returning his money and reward you with a mysterious relic.

With this relic, you’re now equipped to find and defeat the Saber Expert once and for all.

Fight the Saber Expert Boss and Take the Sword

Now it’s time for the final step – return to Jungle Island. Once you’re on Jungle Island, proceed to the stone building where the Blox Fruits dealer’s cousin resides. Look for a black indentation on the wall to the left of one of the staircases. It should resemble the relic that the rich man gave to you. Once you find the hole, use the mysterious relic to unlock the secret chamber concealed within the wall. You’ll find the Saber Expert boss there. You must kill him to acquire the sword. If he’s not in the room, wait a few minutes because he respawns every half an hour. Beware, he’s a level 200 boss, so taking him down isn’t easy. He can easily cut you down into pieces if you fight too close to him.

A good strategy to defeat him is by bombarding him with ranged attacks. To execute this tactic, position yourself outside the opening on the wall. The Saber Expert is confined to the chamber, which gives you an edge. However, be cautious, as he possesses some ranged attacks that can potentially harm you. Once you’re well-positioned, shoot him. With the Saber out of his hands, you can take it and use it for your own quests. Upon finishing this quest, you will become qualified to buy the Ken Haki skill from Usoap, provided your level is 300 or higher.
